Hi, I am Craig, founder of Findelight and here is our story:
This start-up was born out of frustration. During my 25 years as a project manager in construction, I found it difficult when trying to find the right materials and supplies for my clients.
I felt there had to be a better way to "find".
As I have also been a software developer, I
came up with the idea of developing a search
site that would make it simple to find products,
for your homebuilding or reno projects.
We are starting with light fixtures. This has been one
of the more problematic items for my clients to find. There are many lights but the difficulty is
finding the perfect one.
Lighting is so much more than a fixture. It sets the ambiance; it is the medium that transforms your house into a home.
The Findelight team is dedicated to making this happen, for you.
Craig has worked for 25 years helping clients make their dream home a reality.
Having been educated at UBC in sciences and computers, he also has 10 years experience developing and managing computer projects from maps to games.
He likes playing hockey and walking his golden retreiver Harley. He also likes playing soccer with his grandkids (this can be quite exhausting!)
Born and raised in Vancouver, she left to pursue her career. Attended University in Victoria, moved to Calgary where she eventually ran a marketing department at a major utility.
Now, happily, she is back with us in Vancouver and "she is not bossy - she just has better ideas."
Gioia's dream ... to win the lottery so she can take her family (there's lots of them) and friends to Italy.
Born and raised in the small town of Sao Paulo, Brasil, Thyago came to the big town of Vancouver, Canada to study English with his girlfriend.
Having a degree in computer science proved useful for his career at Findelight, where he brightens up our site with HTML, CSS and javascript.
He worships his hometown soccer club, and can be found searching the Vancouver streets for anyone who might know them.
